There are numerous committees always willing to have a new worker bee or chairman. Come see and receive a Monthly Newsletter "Clipping" to inform you of our activities. Dues are $20 July 1st through June 30th. With dues comes a Yearbook of monthly dates, times, and locations of events and a roster of members’ addresses and telephone numbers.

Do call or you will not know tidbits like:

  • Bordine’s gives away tulip bulbs.
  • Peony leaves don’t compost.
  • Pine needles feed all beds.
  • Newspapers make decomposable seed pots.

Our Objective:

"The Grosse Ile Garden Club was organized in 1927 for the purpose of fostering individual and community interest in gardening and to protect, conserve and beautify Grosse Ile. Later, through broadening interest, we affiliated with The Federated Garden Clubs of Michigan in 1935, and through this organization became members of the National Council of State Garden Clubs, thus widening the scope of the Grosse Ile Garden Club to the State and Nation."

Guests are Always Welcome.
