Grosse Ile Senior Citizen Club

Club Information: The organized Grosse Ile Senior Citizen Club meets the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of the month throughout the year at the auditorium of the school facilities at Sacred Heart Church. The club is non-denominational. Assembly begins about 11:30am. The Club provides coffee and dessert for 25 cents. Members and guests may provide their own lunch.

Senior Alliance

The Senior Alliance operates as the designated area agency on aging, and services the 34 charter communities in southern and western Wayne County. As a charter community, Grosse Ile has a responsibility for the existence of The Senior Alliance and its governance, and has a designated representative on the Alliance Board. Each year Grosse Ile contributes a local match contribution to the Alliance. The Township’s share, as proposed by The Senior Alliance this year, will be $1,744.00. The Senior Alliance Web Page
