Senior Housing Committee

In 2001, the Senior Housing Committee fulfilled the requirements of the original charge to the Committee.

The property designated for senior housing was sold by the Township to The Oakwood Companies of Okemos,

Michigan, who will develop and own the senior housing facility.

Construction of a 50 unit, two story apartment building began in late 2001, and continues with an expected

completion and occupancy projected for late in the year 2002.
