DTE Energy Project Update

As many residents have noticed, there are many traffic changes around Macomb and Meridian Roads.

DTE Energy has informed my office that the Macomb Street construction will be completed by the end of the day on Wednesday (March 7, 2007). Grosse Ile Parkway near the Meridian/Grosse Ile Parkway intersection will be closed to traffic sometime in mid-May. The date for the closure has yet to be finalized but chances are that the closure may possibly keep one lane of traffic open. A temporary patch has been put in place on Grosse Ile Parkway until mid-May when concrete can be poured.
