2005 Winter Tax Bills

The Treasurer's Office can no longer accept payment for the 2005 taxes. Under Michigan property tax law, the local treasurer is not allowed to collect 2005 real property taxes after March 1, 2006.

Payment is now due to the Wayne County Treasurer. We can provide the base tax amount. To verify total amount including penalties, you can telephone the Wayne County Treasurer's Office at (313) 224-5990.

This office recommends sending payments (if not paying in person) by certified mail, return receipt requested. The address of the Wayne County Treasurer is as follows:
