Our Third Year

Your Board of Trustees is midway through our third year in office; we have learned much about governing a township and still have much to learn. This Annual Report will serve to present the State of the Township, based on a combination of facts, observations, and educated opinions.

In my third year as your Supervisor, the mission you elected me to execute remains unchanged: to preserve Grosse Ile Township as one of our country‟s most desirable
residential communities. To my knowledge, the only means I have available to measure that desirability - living on Grosse Ile versus the many other competing residential
offerings - is through property values: free Americans can and do vote with their
